With the rapid development of science and technology,virtual reality technology has been applied to various fields such as medicine,geology,engineering technology and so on.Technology has changed life and the emergence of virtual reality technology has given birth to more possibilities for traditional teaching.Virtual reality technology can effectively make up for the shortcomings that may occur in traditional practical teaching activities.At the same time,as an emerging teaching method,it has a great influence on stimulating students’ interest in learning and improving teaching effects.Under the above background,this thesis will study virtual reality technology from the perspective of the technology for vocational education.On this basis,the author combines cognitive theory,constructivism theory,embedded teaching and simulation teaching to make teaching design in the new field of virtual teaching.The thesis discusses the four aspects of the actual situation of the animation teaching in the existing higher vocational colleges: 1.Using virtual reality technology as an auxiliary teaching tool to complete the teaching of professional basic courses;2.Combining 3D animation with virtual reality technology to promote professional skills in classical teaching;3.Application of virtual reality technology to the practical application of internship training project;4.Integration of virtual reality technology in the integrated application of animation professional teaching and taking the specific teaching examples of Xuanhua Vocational College of Science and Technology as cases for research.The thesis compares and analyzes the class satisfaction,comprehensive quality assessment and core curriculum effect through teaching virtual reality application between "contrast class" and "experimental class".Besides,based on the research and analysis of application effects,the author draws the following conclusion: Animation teaching with virtual reality technology can not only help students learn basic knowledge but also improve the learning efficiency.The thesis also puts forward corresponding suggestions for the application of virtual reality technology in the animation teaching of higher vocational colleges,in order to solve the bottleneck problems of the development of virtual reality technology in China’s animation industry.Through the application research of virtual reality technology in animation majors in higher vocational colleges,we are supposed to help the devekopment of higher vocational education and make students abtain the comprehensive professionl competence in the profession and industry.In this way,we can promote the hightech,standardization,industrialization and internationalization of China’s animation industry,which can inject new vitality and a stronger driving force for the future of the our motherland.
