Virtual reality animation technology development and improvement depends on the rapid development of computer technology. In the past few years with the virtual reality technology in the industry with the rapid rate of increase, the applications of virtual reality is more and more widely. Allowing for large scenes to construct 3D VR simulation animation system possible, in military simulation, urban planning, interior design, the protection of cultural relics, traffic simulation, virtual reality games, disaster prevention and mitigation design has made great development.Lu Tusi Amun project as the foundation, in view of the virtual reality technology application in the architectural heritage protection, tourism development, cultural heritage research in this thesis. The paper uses 3ds Max and VRP platform integration design and implementation of lutusi yamen virtual reality animation system. Combined with the project case, some technical problems in the application of virtual reality animation technology, to seek solutions to achieve the method and skills. The main research contents include the overall framework design of VR project, the construction and optimization of simulation scene model, the realization of interactive animation system, the development and research of interactive function and so on. Through the detailed study of the virtual reality animation theory and technical difficulties are described in detail.The exploration and practice of the 3D digital simulation modeling technology to use, according to the specific hardware and system requirements, completed the classification modeling techniques for different model, solves how diversification in dealing with complex model number optimization problem, also in VR interaction system in the texture Optimization Techniques and bake the Maps application, so that the goal of rendering speed and the perfect balance. According to Lu Tusi Amun project used the interaction module to construct the difficulty of virtual interactive program is researched and implemented, from the system roaming diversification of animation display, to experience the real time collision detection, virtual characters walking animation for the three aspects of research work carried out, so as to break through the key and difficult problems, optimize the whole development process of the system.Through the study of application of Lu Tusi Amun project virtual reality animation, not only for the protection and transmission of the culture intentionally, but also for presentation of cultural heritage provides a new method and platform, enriched the content and means of expression, expanded the readership of cultural resources.
