| The art of watercolor painting has been influenced by many painting concepts in the development process,and the impression of light and shadow has a profound influence on it.This article is based on the research of Impressionist painting in the process of graduation creation,analyzes and summarizes the special light and shadow concept of Impressionism,discusses the influence of Impressionism on the expression language of watercolor painting,and demonstrates the application of its expression in watercolor landscape paintings.It reveals the importance of light and shadow in the language of watercolor painting,and applies the concept of impressionism to the graduation of watercolor painting.The thesis consists of four chapters: The first chapter introduces the origin of Impressionist art from the exhibition of the first Impressionist work "Sunrise Impression" and the background of the times.The second chapter shows the impressionism from the characteristics and laws of Impressionist painting.Compared with the traditional paintings and the special light and shadow expressions,it describes the light and shadow language displayed in some works of the famous Impressionist painter Monet.The third chapter introduces the three watercolor painters from the East and the West,focusing on the impressionists in their respective works.The application and performance of light and shadow;the fourth chapter combines theory and practice,expounds part of the mental journey of my graduation work,and applies the application of impressionism to light and shadow in my creation. |
