The Cultural Meaning And Educational Significance Of The Dragon Boat Festival Element Symbol

From the mid-18 th century,when the development of scientific and technological productivity in the western world led to the rise of the industrial revolution,modern industrial products have basically completed the takeover of our lives,and most of our material needs and emotional transmission needs to be completed with the help of designed industrial products.This objectively caused the fact is that the culture of the western developed countries in the hundred years gradually dominate the voice of the world and caused the severe impact on our traditional culture,there is no denying that significant changes to the way the material production for our way of life has brought great convenience,but the change of ideology also makes us no longer immersed in a cultural atmosphere of the pace of life,the decay of modern political economy also led to our question of its culture,many traditional culture have been abandoned.The direct result is that we reform and forget our traditional festivals.However,any Chinese who has an understanding of national culture is bound to know its extensive and profound,and also understand the core position of local culture in the development of the nation.This is especially evident in the policies advocated after China's economic development has achieved phased results and its international status has been improved in recent years.This kind of traditional culture and educational thought,as a means to increase the feasibility of designing kernel sinicization,is the research direction of this paper.In other words,the popularization of education of traditional culture needs some positive and effective breakthrough points and a more suitable communication mode for contemporary society.As a collection of cultural essences,the traditional festivals of the Chinese nation are like amber polished by the ages and condensed with long cultural memories,which can serve as a fresh and cordial entry point in the popularization of modern traditional culture education.It is worth studying to sort out and extract elements and symbols in traditional festivals and apply them as visual carriers in industrial design to convey traditional culture and then education concept.Dragon Boat Festival as one of the current four statutory national traditional holidays,at the same time has a long tradition of inheritance,active and rich cultural education connotation and continuation of the celebration of the tradition,is a very ideal research object.In this paper,the Dragon Boat Festival as the main research content,the first chapter of the introduction to clarify the current development of China's traditional festivals and the plight of the need to improve,as well as the theoretical significance of this topic.The second chapter lists the origin of Dragon Boat Festival and festival customs in detail,as the data reserve of element symbol extraction.The third chapter discusses the development of the Dragon Boat Festival in the process of the most affected by several of China's local ideological culture,namely Confucianism and Taoism and worship of nature on the development of the Dragon Boat Festival.Chapter four summarizes and extracts the symbol of Dragon Boat Festival and applies it in the category of design in chapter five.Chapter six discusses the cultural education connotation expressed by the Dragon Boat Festival element symbol.The last chapter summarizes the argumentation logic of this paper,in order to be used for reference in other festivals.
