A Report On Two Cases Of Liaison Interpreting Under The Guidance Of Interpretive Theory

This report is a summary of two practical activities,which are “CFA International Youth Football Tournament Jiangyin 2017” and “The Second Silk Road(Dunhuang)International Cultural Expo”.Centering on the cases chosen from the two interpreting tasks,this report is designed to analyze problems and causes that occurred in real tasks,including mistranslation,voice obstacles and difficulties in cross-cultural communication.Under the guidance of interpretive theory,the author tries to analyze successfully applied strategies and the characteristics of liaison interpreting,as well as ways to solve problems.Liaison interpreters need to have abundant cultural knowledge reserves,obtaining many specialized vocabulary,and play multiple roles during the whole process.The author hopes that this report can enable the language learners and interpreters to carry out relevant practices to make greater progress.
