A Report On The Liaison Interpreting For China Tour Of Astonishing Strings

In recent years,with the development of globalization,cultural exchanges between countries are increasingly close.As a link of cultural exchange,interpretation plays an important role in it.The increasing demand for interpretation in the cultural field also provides many valuable practical opportunities for students majoring in interpretation.From March 23 rd to April 1st,2019,the Chelsea House Orchestra and Soundhouse Crescent Super Band from the United States conducted a two-week tour in China.The author was entrusted to be responsible for the interpretation during the tour.Based on this interpretation practice,this paper analyzes the interpretation problems in the process of interpretation and explores the relative strategies and skills.The paper gives a detailed description of the interpreting task and introduces the whole process,including preparation,implementation and evaluation.The paper selects the most representative cases of the whole task for analysis,discussing strategies in language processing,guarantee of expression effect,and tactics of cross-cultural communication.In the end,the paper summarizes problems to solve,hoping to offer enlightenment to the interpreters.
