A Study On The Classification And The Related Issues Of Han Dynasty Wooden Slips Unearthed In Jianshuijinguan(?-?)

Jianshuijinguan is a military checkpoint on the northwest border of Han dynasty,which was affiliated to Jianshui Houguan.It is the fortress to enter and exit the Hexi hinterland and to join the Juyan area in the north,which has an important strategic position.In 1973,the Juyan Archaeological Team of Gansu Province opened 37 excavation sites in the Jianshuijinguan site and received 11577 wooden slips,including 1426 unnumbered.This batch of slips began to be sorted and published by Zhongxi Publishing House in August 2011,which were divided into five volume.These materials were exactly the object of our research.,This research classified the documents on the basis of the collection of the interpretations,and conducted some monographic studies on the related issues of the language and characters involved.The whole paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction.We will briefly demonstrate the excavation and publication of the Han dynasty wooden slips unearthed in Jianshuijinguan,which focuses on revealing the corpus value of this material.We will also briefly introduce the related current researches at home and abroad.The second part is the classification of documents.The unearthed wooden slips of Han dynasty normally include traditional ancient work slips and document slips,while the Han dynasty wooden slips unearthed in Jianshuijinguan is mostly composed of documents.After sorting and annotating the written language on the slips,we divided the documents into five categories,including practical writing,account,record,contract and seal.Each category was again divided into 30 subcategories according to the different characteristics and functions of the documents.After that,based on the current researches,we made an detailed description and explanation of the characteristics and stylesheets of each subcategories,and made some necessary annotations on the certain words as well.The third part is the research of the new type of the documents in Han dynasty wooden slips unearthed in Jianshuijinguan.We discussed some rare types of documents of unearthed slips,such as"Ting Jian Dao Li Bu"(“?????”)"Archive files of Gong Lao"(“???”)"Soldier's Account Book"(“????”)"Yan Jian"(“??”)and so on.We also tried to restore the contents of these rare types of documents with the relevant northwest Han dynasty wooden slips as an auxiliary material.The fourth part is some monographic studies on the related language and characters.We explored five issues in the means of special topics.The first topic discussed the interpretation of some words,which proposed new ideas for the interpretation of the words.The second topic was about the"List of Coachman"(“????”)and"coachman"(“????”)in Jinguan Han wooden slips.The third Topic paid attention to the quantifier"Ji"(“?”)in Jinguan Han wooden slips from the diachronic perspective.The fourth topic discussed the simultaneous use of"Jian"(“?”)and"Shi"(“?”)in northwest Han dynasty wooden slips,in the meanwhile discussed the evolution of the common words"Jian"and"Shi".The fifth topic studied some of the vocabularies in the list of people entering and exiting the border in Jinguan Han wooden slips.The fifth part is appendices.Since the publication of the Han dynasty wooden slips unearthed in Jianshuijinguan,it has drawn much attention from the scholars.Both the stitching of the broken wooden slips and collection of the interpretations are the premise of correct interpretation and follow-up researches.Therefore,the first appendix collated and summarized 380 viewpoints of how to stitch the broken wooden slips from the scholars.The second appendix is the collection of interpretations,which comprehensively puts together more than 1500 relevant viewpoints of the academia.The fourth appendix is a list of research articles on the study of Han Dynasty Wooden Slips Unearthed in Jianshuijinguan(?-?),which collects 568 existing research achivements of the academia before March 2019.
