Inferiority feelings is one of the most important factors affecting the mental health of college students.In order to reduce the level of inferiority feelings and explore the effectiveness and superiority of different behavioral therapy intervention inferiority feelings.In this study,the representatives of the third generation of behavioral therapy,namely acceptance and commitment therapy(ACT)and the second generation of behavioral therapy,namely rational-emotional-behavioral therapy(REBT),were used to conduct the intervention research on the inferiority feelings of college students by combining the two attributes of inferiority feelings,namely low self-evaluation and negative emotional experience.In this study,36 college students with a high sense of inferiority(average score of FIS is greater than 4)were selected through advertising recruitment,the Feelings of Inadequacy Scale test and interview.They were randomly divided into three groups,among which 12 were ACT group,12 were REBT group and the other 12 were control group.The two groups received group intervention once a week for 90-120 minutes for a total of 8 times,the control group without any treatment.The Feelings of Inadequacy Scale was used to measure the three groups before,after and after 3 months of follow-up.At the same time,the members of the two groups were interviewed and self-assessed in the early,middle,late and follow-up periods.Finally,the measurement data and qualitative data are collated and analyzed.The study draws the following conclusions:(1)acceptance and commitment therapy and rational-emotional-behavior therapy can effectively intervene college students' inferiority feelings.(2)there was no significant difference in the immediate effect of acceptance and commitment therapy and rational-emotional-behavior therapy on college students' inferiority feelings.(3)the long-term effect of acceptance and commitment therapy on college students' inferiority feelings is better than that of rational-emotion-behavior therapy.
