The Research On The Application Of The Color Words In White Deer Plain

Chen's novel "White Deer Plain" is not only an excellent literary work,but also its distinctive style of language has a very high research value.Color Words are the concrete reflection of magnificent color in language,they are also the material culture precipitation rich in language system and carry the profound spiritual cultural connotation.At the same time the use of Color Words reflects the creator's unique perspective of using color and aesthetic experience.The "White Deer Plain",which has plenty of color words,a wide variety and flexible usage with rich cultural implication and pragmatic value,shows the author's unique color world.By analyzing the characteristics of the use of color words in "White Deer Plain" and the study of the color context,this paper further explores the expression function and application strategy of Chinese color words.Based on the conceptual characteristics of color words and the related theoretical methods of linguistics,the author of this paper analyzes and summarizes the characteristics of the use of color words in different aspects,such as word formation,cultural righteousness and pragmatic function,as well as the choice strategy of color intention,and then reads the text carefully,deeply studies the cultural connotations contained in Chinese color words.It is expected that this paper can provide a new corpus for the study of color word use,and provide a new perspective for the text interpretation of "White Deer Plain".The full text is divided into five parts: In the first chapter the writer discusses a general situation of the research on color words and their application of modern Chinese,expounds the significance and research methods of this paper,and determines the object and scope of the research by clarifying the relevant concepts of color words,and then discusses the theoretical basis of this study and the relevant creative background of the novel "White Deer Plain";The second chapter is an important link in the collation and study of the corpus,it also includes measurement statistics and characteristic analysis of the color words.Based on these data,it is found that the author constructs a colorful world whose main color is white.In the third part the writer distinguishes the simple color words from the synthetic color words firstly,and then divides the word formation categories of different color words through the combination of morphemes.In the Part IV and Part V based on the corpus data and special points of the "White Deer Plain",the writer do a deeply research and analyzing in pragmatic function of color words and cultural meaning of color words.Finally,in the conclusion part the writer summarizes the research results of this paper and the development space of this research.
