Artistic Characteristics Analysis For Higashino Keigo’s Novels

Nowdays,Higashino keigo had become a leading figure in Japanese mystery novels.On the basis of summing up the outstanding achievements of predecessors,he had opened up own unique style of "realism".In 1999,the publication of "white night walk" undoubtedly became a practical proof of the "realism" about his novel.White Night made bubble economy period of Japanese society as the time background,depicted the Social conditions of Japan in the 70 s and 90 s,and revealled many practical problems in society,becoming the uncrowned king of countless fans.So far,there were many research results about Higashino keigo of White Night,but more focused on the image of the hero and heroine,narrative,film and television adaptation,lack of systematic research on the artistic characteristics of novels.Therefore,the author believes that There are still research spaces and values in the artistic features of White Nights.this paper will sort out the development course of the mystery novel and and its influence on the style of Higashino keigo ’s novels,uses White Nights as the research text,from the creation techniques,characters and the theme of the times revealed by the novel systematically grasps the unique artistic characteristics of White Night.This paper is divided into four chapters.the first chapter is about the style and main works of Higashino Keigo’s novels,focusing on the main reasons for the formation of Higashino Keigo’s style.The second chapter is the discussion of the creative teachniques of White Night,grasping the unique conception and ingenious design of the novel from three aspects: narrative mode,structural method and time background.The third chapter is the analysis of the characters of White Night,aiming at grasping The Times and social crisis behind the characters.The fourth chapter discusses the artistic refraction of social reality of White Night,mainly analyzing the social problems that the novel should reveal.Finally,the conclusion part of this paper,we try to summarize the previous study on Higashino keigo and White Night.and summary the artistic features of White Night.
