The design objective of this project is mainly to re-create the Sandu Shui ethnic folk pattern in Guizhou and its application in modern graphic design.The works are composed of two parts:artistic posters and extended application of patterns,aiming at displaying the beauty of Sandu Shui ethnic folk pattern from the perspective of pluralism and unity.Based on the analysis and summary of the research contents,this topic selected three themes of symbol expression in the aquarium folklore pattern-Aquarium characters,primitive art-horsetail embroidery,artistic conception reconstruction-Aquarium folklore coin for new visual performance.The design of Shui nationality folk custom pattern can be divided into three different types: Abstract extraction of lines in Shui Shu character form,combination of horsetail embroidery pattern and simplified expression of Shui nationality folk coin pattern.The form of the work is mainly modern concise,interesting and abstract style;the color boldly breaks through the inherent color of the aquarium and combines with modern aesthetics to make new tone matching;and the structure is innovative reorganization with the original figure of the aquarium.The innovation of this topic lies in the use of modern graphic design language to convey aquarium regional culture and minority consciousness.The principle of combining technology with art is used to complete the application of poster and pattern extension.Visual information is conveyed through different media,so that viewers can perceive the relevance between modern design and Aquarium folk culture,and experience new aquarium nationalizationinterest.
