E-C Translation Of Technical Texts From The Perspective Of Text Typology

In the context of increasingly serious environmental pollution,it is particularly important to raise awareness of environmental protection.In environmental protection,small behaviors can also play a profound role in environmental protection.For people,we must start from small things to protect our natural environment because people can only improve their behaviors by paying more attention to the relationship between people and the environment.This thesis involves the tran slation of relevant materials in envirornmental sociology and is helpful for raising people's awareness of envir-onmental protection and arousing their attention to the environment'Text Typology believes that the text type determines the translation strategy.The scientific and technical style belongs to informative text.For informative text,the translator's main task is to convey the main content of the original text.This paper is based on the concept of"Informative Text" proposed by Reiss.Taking parts of Environ.nmental Social Science:Human-Environrment Interactions and Sustain.ability as translation mate rials.This thesis expounds the translation methods and techniques of scientific texts.In this thesis,the first part introduces the original text.The second p art describes the translation process,including the language features of the original text and the translator's previous preparations.Th e third part introduces Reiss's Text Typology Theory and scientific and technical texts.The fourth part is the case analysis in terms of translation skills,stylistic features and Text Typology.The fifth part offers the major findings and limitations of the thesis.
