The Northwest United University And The Northwest Higher Education During The Anti-japanese War

With the outbreak of the War of Resistance against Japan,colleges and universities in the eastern part of China were destroyed by the Japanese army.The Ministry of Education of the National Government ordered colleges and universities to move inward.It was at this time that the Northwest United University was established.In this paper,it is not studied "The Northwest United University" by named,but also includes the Xian Provisional University before its renaming and the five Northwest Universities separated from it.The article mainly explores the influence of the Northwest United University in the course of its establishment and development on Northwest higher education during the period of the Anti-Japanese War.And it deeply excavates the great significance and far-reaching influence of the Northwest United University on Northwest higher education and the development of Northwest China by combing systematically the tortuous course of the Northwest United University.The innovation of this paper is to put the development of the Northwest United University under the overall layout of higher education in Northwest China and combine it with the development of Northwest China.The development process of the Northwest United University was difficult and tortuous,and was finally reorganized and divided into five national northwest universities.The idea of "developing the northwest" has been mentioned for a long time,and the National Government has made unremitting efforts to it.The establishment of the Northwest United University,in one respect,is to "develop the northwest".Since the founding of the Northwest United University,it has been carrying out the mission of developing northwest and contributed its strength to the national rejuvenation.Since then,although the Northwest United University has been reorganized several times,they still take the northwest development and northwest construction as their mission,and have made important contributions to the higher education and social development of northwest China.The establishment of the Northwest United University not only changed the uneven distribution of higher education in China before the Anti-Japanese War,but also laid the pattern of thedevelopment of higher education in northwest China and had a profound impact on the construction of northwest science education system.During the period of the republic of China,the development of higher education in China presented the problems of small number and uneven distribution,and the establishment and development of the Northwest United University solved these problems to some extent.Many universities separated from the Northwest United University remain in the northwest and take root in the vast northwest.
