At present, there are many researches about interpreting theories and practice at home and abroad, but most of them only concentrate on the application of one certain theory. In fact, every interpreting theory has its own focus, solely covering one or a few aspects of interpretation. However,in field interpreting, the interpreter must fulfill all the tasks comprehensively. Thus the guidance of several theories is necessary. As for this interview interpreting practice, the interpreter chooses three theories as the guidance,i.e.Gile's Effort Models,Syntactic Linearity and Interpretive Theory. With Gile's Effort Models as the prototype, the interpreter introduces Syntactic Linearity and Interpretive Theory in the phase of target language delivery to effectively solve the problems that arise in interpreting. To provide readers with a general view of this interpretation, the report is carried out from the following aspects: the first chapter is task description, mainly introducing the interpreter's analysis of this interview interpreting;the second chapter is process description, including preparation before interpreting, interpreting process as well as evaluation;the third chapter is case analysis, where the interpreter manages to solve the problems in interpreting practice by applying Gile's Effort Models,Syntactic Linearity and Interpretive Theory, and picks some typical examples to give further analysis;in the last chapter, the interpreter presents her reflections about this interpreting practice and the career as an interpreter. The interpreter hopes this report can offer us enlightenment and encouragement.
