As one of the sources of literature in the new era,educated youth literature occupies an important position in contemporary Chinese literature.The literature of the educated youth records the ideological development of the special group of educated youth,and creates a large number of classical images which are quite different from those of other characters on the corridor of modern Chinese literature.With the development of the times and the passage of time,great changes have taken place in the image of the educated youth.This paper attempts to explore the emotional self-examination,life self-examination and cultural self-examination of the educated youth generation in the new period by studying the evolution process of the image of the educated youth.This paper is divided into five parts.The introduction first defines the important concepts of "new era","educated youth","educated youth literature" and summarizes the scope and content of this paper.Secondly,the research on the image of the educated youth in the new period is sorted out and summarized,and the innovation of this paper is clarified.In the first chapter,through a large number of text analysis,the evolution of the image of educated youth has been elaborated in detail.The first kind of educated youth image experienced the change from the victim image of lineage theory to the repressed image,which embodied the deepening of the writers' thinking about the sufferings of the educated youth;the second type of educated youth image experienced the change from the revolutionary builder to the urban struggler image,which reflected the profound reflection of the educated youth writers on the times and fate;and the third type of educated youth image experienced "backward".Looking for the change of "forward" thinking image reflects the plight of the educated youth generation after returning to the city,highlighting its reflection and repentance on history;the fourth kind of educated youth image experienced the change from the image of the victim to the image of rebellious educated youth,highlighting the evil of human nature and the maturity of the educated youth novel.The second chapter explains the deep-seated reasons for the change of the image of educated youth in the new period from three aspects.Firstly,it uses Althusser's theory of ideological state apparatus and cultural communication theory to analyze the recessive influence of ideology on the creative subject;secondly,it analyses the influence of ideology on the image change of educated youth from the perspectives of humanitarianism,social transformation and creative methods;and finally,through the analysis of the image change of educated youth.The writer's life experience and the intergenerational experience difference inquiry will analyze its influence on the image change of the educated youth.Chapter three explains the progressive rational reflection implied by the change of the image of the educated youth,explains how the educated youth from the revolutionary builder,the successor of the society to the exile of the city and the vagrant of the countryside from abandonment and abandonment,and how human nature shows its hidden and dark side with the change of social environment and living conditions through specific works.How does individual life follow the self-consciousness of life in the environment of material poverty and difficult conditions? Finally,from the perspective of culture,the cultural introspection embodied in the image of educated youth is investigated.The conclusion summarizes the maturity and openness of the intellectual youth novels since the new period with the evolution of the image of the intellectual youth.
