Vocabulary teaching runs through the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language and is the top priority of teaching work,but it is also the weak part of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The zi-centered theory has received a lot of attention since its introduction,and it has made certain developments in philological and applied research.According to the characteristics of this subject,we choose the zi-centered theory when we teaching the vocabulary.The teaching practice proves that the zi-centered teaching method has many advantages in vocabulary teaching,which is conducive to improve learning efficiency and teaching effect.However,in the teaching process,it is also found that not all vocabulary is suitable for the teaching method,and the vocabulary needs to be further divided.Based on the zi-centered theory,this paper studies the receptive vocabulary teaching through expounding the teaching objectives,principles,suggestions,steps and precautions of the vocabulary teaching of Chinese as a foreign language based on the Filipino Chinese Textbook.By further dividing the vocabulary,the teaching method can be better applied to teaching,which can help teachers to select teaching methods more accurately and help the second language learners to learn Chinese effectively.
