Film is a combination of audio-visual products,used to record human life,history,culture and other fields.Mongolian themed films use their own images and sounds to express the life,living conditions,emotions and other phenomena of the Mongolian people.In particular,Mongolian films in the 21 st century tell the spiritual history of the Mongolian people with unique lens language,showing the strong humanistic feelings and profound national cultural connotation of the Mongolian people.Taking Mongolian films in Inner Mongolia in the early 21 st century as the main research object,this paper analyzes the theme,image building,image language and folk culture of the film from the perspective of theme connotation and image expression,and explores the creation mode and the deepest meaning of the current Mongolian films in Inner Mongolia.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is an overview of Mongolian films in Inner Mongolia since the 21 st century.First of all,it defines the Mongolian film,and then elaborates on the general situation of Mongolian film creation,the diversification of subjectmatter,the richness and depth of connotation,the innovation of expression methods and the formation of creative groups,and points out the way of Mongolian film creation and development.The second chapter systematically analyzes the themes of Mongolian films in Inner Mongolia since the 21 st century,and studies the themes of praise,unity and thinking expressed in the films.In addition,the paper focuses on the connotation presentation of the themes in Mongolian films,such as the praise of Mongolian charity feelings,the unity and friendship of the national people,and the weakening of traditional culture,as well as the distinct and unique creative ideas,so as to reveal the cultural enlightenment hidden behind the theme.The third chapter,using the theory of film narratology,analyzes the image of Mongolian films in Inner Mongolia since the 21 st century.The typical images created in the film are divided into three categories: the image of herdsmen in the traditional transition,the image of herdsmen in the modern process,and the image of animal companions.This paper analyzes the characteristics and modes of image building in Mongolian films and explores the real character traits of Mongolian nationality.The fourth chapter,from the perspective of audio-visual language,analyzes the image expression of Mongolian films in Inner Mongolia since the 21 st century.This paper analyzes the narrative features and expression techniques of Mongolian films from the aspects of structural features and lens language.It can beseen from the film works that the plot is set in sequence,the nomadic long shot and the symbolic technique of expression are skillfully used in the film,showing the unique conception and aesthetic taste of the creators as well as the national style of Mongolian film creation.Chapter five focuses on the folk culture in Mongolian films of Inner Mongolia since the 21 st century.From two aspects of life customs and ritual customs,this paper interprets the folk culture presented in Mongolian films and discusses the application and significance of the depiction of folk culture in film works.
