| China's IC industry has achieved remarkable results after more than a decade of development.China's semiconductor industry has international competitiveness in packaging testing and chip design,but learning Western advanced technology is also indispensable.Therefore,computer-text translation has also become an important task in technology introduction.However,there are fewer translation talents and the materials that can be borrowed are incomplete.The report hopes to find out the translation strategies and techniques for such texts through own translation and efforts,and summarize relevant experiences for Professionals to provide reference materials.This report takes the German functional school's teleology as the theoretical framework.Through the translation practice and the analysis of typical cases,the paper studies the computer-science text translation methods and strategies,and draws the characteristics,strategies and principles of electronic technology English translation.The article “MPU-6500 Product Specification Revision 1.1” is selected for translation practice,and the report is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which describes the development status and the research significance and purpose.The second part introduces the content and characteristics of the text;The third part is the translation process,from pre-translation preparation,translation,and post-translation review.The fourth part is case analysis from three aspects: vocabulary,sentence and graph.The fifth part is a summary of translation practice.Through the study of translation practice,this research report has three inspirations for the English-Chinese translation of computer text: vocabulary,translation by literal translation or translation;sentence,sentence restructuring,adjusting the word order,and achieving the principle of faithfulness;in terms of graphics,retaining the chart style,and translating the content.Hoping to provide reference for future translations and for the field. |
