Reform school students refer to a special group whose emotion and behavior are considered problematic.Those students have a strong incline toward aggressiveness.In order to further study on influential factors of students' aggression,to provide effective suggestions for reform school students' aggressive psychological correction,this study takes the quantitative and the qualitative research methods to find the relationship among life events,cognitive emotion strategies and aggression of students.Firstly,the Adolescent Self-rating Life Events Cheek-List(ASLEC),the Chinese version of Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire(CERQ-C)and the Aggressive Behavior Sub Scale of Adolescent Aggressiveness Questionnaire(AAQ)were used to investigate 200 junior-school students and 100 reform school students.Secondly,through the qualitative research method,to know the condition of students'aggression,cognitive emotion regulation strategies and life events experience and analyze the relationship among the three,then it can provide suggestions for intervention study of students' aggression.The quantitative of study:(1)Compared with the junior school students,the scores of life events,cognitive emotion strategies and aggression of reform school students were higher.(2)There was a significant positive correlation between life events and aggressive behavior.Negative emotion regulation is positively related to the dimensions of the disaster,blame and aggressive behavior.(3)The students'negative strategies play the role of some intermediary.Individual interview:(1)The reform school students has a high level of aggression and life events,and their mainly strategies is catastrophizing and blaming others.(2)The aggression is related to their life events experience,and cognitive strategy plays indirect role among them(3)The reform school students' strategies of catastrophizing,blaming others play the role of some intermediary.Conclusion:(1)Life events experience has an important influence on the formation of aggression of prisoners:the more serious life events are,the higher the aggression is.(2)Cognitive emotion regulation strategies of prisoners are associated with aggression,negative cognitive emotion regulation strategies result a higher level of aggression.(3)The prisoners' strategies play the role of some intermediary.
