TV station logo refers to a special type of television station which comes from culture,art,commercial value and publicity functions,and is finally applied to the TV station,including TV station name,channel number and channel identification,usually expressed in graphics,characters or graphic mixed form.TV station logo embodies the image of a television station,the concept of the station,program quality and other elements,and it also conveys the carrier of television media information.The basic function of the television station is to convey the television station's concept,channel characteristics,humanistic spirit and other information to the audience,so that the logo leaves an impression to the audience.,which establish a cognitive relationship between TV channel and television audience and the bridge of information.So the quality of the design of the TV station logo directly affects the image the in the hearts of audiences.In the eighties of last century,China promulgated the "four levels of television,four mixed coverage" policy,when this policy came out,all around set up cable television network.By the end of 2015,China has more than 2,500 different levels of television stations,and the number of television stations and the number of visitors ranked first in the world.With the increasing number of television stations,the quality of the design of the standard performance is also uneven.And it is an indispensable visual element in the system of image recognition system of TV media enterprises,and it has special significance and function in the rapid development of TV broadcasting industry.However,at present,there are many problems in the design of the standard,so this paper chooses the Chinese TV station as Object of study.The purpose of this paper is to study the overall situation of the logo design of our TV station from the point of view of the designer,and regard the cultural connotation of the visual image and the design concept as the main research content.The selected examples is a wide range,and the influence of the dissemination is strong,the most distinctive and representative one is the TV station logo above all the domestic provincial level,and all Star TV logo,and Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan regions included.This paper first defines the concept and function of the TV station logo,which will classify China from China's inland areas and Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan,and each region sorts out the various regional landmark design in different historical periods in terms of time and major changes in the television industry,Then,combining with the practical cases,the paper analyzes the two basic elements-graphics and color and classifies them,and then finds out the visual characteristics of the design of the Chinese TV station.The visual design of the TV station should be supported by the design concept.The design concept contains different cultural forms,and then summarizes the cultural connotation of the existing design concept of the Chinese TV station logo.Due to the particularity of the logo media,TV station logo should assume the responsibility of cultural transmission and heritage,so the identity of the cultural responsibility should be defined.According to the analysis above,the existing problems of the Chinese television station are summarized and the proposed suggestions are put forward.In the last chapter of this paper,combined with the status quo of the Chinese TV station logo,the future development of the Chinese TV station logo will be explored accordingly.
