A Research Of Cheng Yaotian's Thought On Human Nature

During the Ming and Qing Dynasty,the traditional society was in the process of transforming into modern society.The Qian-Jia philology is the most representative academy of Qing Dynasty,embodying new characteristics of thought and academy.Cheng Yaotian is the great master of the Qianlong and Jiaqing period,he is good at textual research,but not lindted by sectarian bias.His book Tong Yi Lu contains philosophy,explaining ancient books,naming objects,the system,rhythm,mathematics,was wildly praised by most scholars.This paper mainly talks about his philosophy on human nature in Lun Xue Xiao Ji and Lun Xue Wai Ji.At the same time,evaluate his criticism and correction about Dai Zhen's thought on human nature.The paper is made up of preface,three chapters of text and epilogue.The preface roughly discusses the current academic research to Cheng and the writing ideas including research significance.The first chapter mainly introduce Cheng himself and his academic circle,analyses the Inheritance of his academy.The second chapter discusses his conception about human nature,sums up his distinguish characteristics in this field.The third chapter explains Dai Zhen's thought on human nature first;secondly compare Cheng' idea with Dai's,point out the value of Cheng's thought of his era.
