| Raymond Henry Williams was a well-known Marxist literary critic and cultural theorist in the UK.He expanded the literature research to the study of culture,and he devoted himself to the establishment of a theoretical framework for cultural studies and textual analysis in an attempt to explain cultural products and society.His book"keywords:avocabulary of culture and society" is a sign of the rise of "keyword criticism." However,the key words in the "keyword criticism" are all notional words.It is from the word meaning changes in the word to observe and analyze the society.The function word without actual meaning does not seem to be a "keyword",which is the blank of the "keyword criticism".Based on Ferdinand de Saussure's "Signifier"and "Signified",Harold Garfinkel's "indexed expression" and "objective expression",Basil Bernstein's "restricted code" and "elaborated code",this article attempt to analyze the word "Ranhou" from the perspective of representation rather than grammatical semantics,and try to expand the field of "keyword criticism" to function word,and to analyze the problems of modernity and post-modernity."Ranhou" was used at high frequency in modem Chinese spoken language."Ranhou jiu meiyou Ranhou le" and the author's personal experience all show that in the present society "Ranhou" has obtained our high degree of affection.Similarly,many scholars have studied this phenomenon.However,most of researches on"Ranhou" proceed from the enlargement of the usage of "Ranhou" and remain in the analysis of the generalization of Ranhou's usage and the formation mechanism behind generalization.In terms of the generalization of Ranhou's usage,the researchers formed a relatively unanimous opinion,but on the issue of the formation mechanism behind the generalization of usage,a relatively unified theoretical system has not yet been formed.The hypothesis of "being influenced by English" is endorsed by most of the relevant researchers.It can be seen that the current academic research on"Ranhou" is being focused on the field of linguistics,and there is no sociological study in the strict sense;at the same time,the researching corpus are mostly from non-"natural" corpus such as ancient books and interviewing TV programs.There are also researchers who collect real spoken language data in their lives through questionnaire surveys or covert surveys,and out of the college background of the researchers,this part of real spoken language corpus is mostly collected from young people in higher education fields.This article is based on sociology of language,trying to talk to Raymond Williams.Therefore,the research object of this paper is not "Ranhou",but the expression of "Ranhou",and this research object can be further clarified as two specific research questions:1."Ranhou" whether or not there is changes of expression in the spoken language today.2.What kind of sociological thinking can be brought about by this change.This is also the purpose of this paper:to analyze the expression of "Ranhou" and to try to find out its implicit sociological significance from this shift.This article focuses on the field of higher education based on Bourdieu's field theory.The textual analysis method is used as the research method.The text comes from the Yongmulu Forum,which can be regarded as a miniature of higher education field.After analyzing the 32-item speeches of the Yongmulu Forum,this article found that:1.In addition to the original "timeliness" expression method,the "Ranhou" of the Yongmulu forum has a "spatial" expression.A shift from "timely" to "spatial"narrative is seen;2.Both breadth and depth of the change should not be underestimated.That is,in the "modern society" that emphasizes linear time,there emerged a narrative approach that did not emphasize linear time and did not emphasize logic.A spatial narrative emerged in the temporal narrative,and"non-modernity" emerged in "modernity",or called it "post-modernity." The"post-modernity" is actually a reflective "modernity".The spatial shift of Ranhou's usage is also not a subversion of the "timely" narrative approach.The emergence of the spatial narrative approach challenges and deconstructs,supplements,and reconstructs the narrative approach dominated by the temporal narrative approach.The status quo of the narrative approach of "temporality" and "spatiality"coexisted precisely from the background of post-modernity and was also a microcosm of the times.In such a society,"linearity","development","evolution",and"replacement" are gone forever.People pursue the adhering to the parallel,cyclical,non-linear,non-developmental spiritual traits.The "post-modemity" is ready to come.So,from "Ranhou",we can see "post-modernity".In this sense,this article believes that "Ranhou" is a function word,but it is a well-deserved "keyword"!... |
