As China's international status and influence increase,more and more foreign learners are interested in Chinese language learning and Belarus is no exception.As the popularity of Chinese teaching in Russian increases,the demand for Chinese textbooks is also on the increase,and the requirements of textbook users for teaching materials are getting higher and higher.In the process of using Chinese language teaching materials,people found that many problems needed to be improved and some suggestions to be made.China is continuously improving the level of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and has conducted targeted and sustained research on Chinese textbooks.However,there are relatively few researches on foreign language textbooks for Belarus and other Russian-speaking countries.This study selects the most frequently used books in teaching Chinese,like "Hanyu Jiaocheng","New Practical Chinese Reader" and "New Chinese Language Objectives",and conducts research on the use of Chinese textbooks in Belarus through questionnaires,interviews,and other research methods.The research also makes reasonable explanations and suggestions for amendments,makes due efforts for the future of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and provides some valuable reference data for textbook writers.This thesis consists of four parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research background,research objectives,research purpose,research methods and literature review.The second part is the analysis of teaching materials.It mainly introduces the theory and content arrangement of textbooks,the external forms of textbooks,the content structure of textbooks,the translation methods of textbooks,and the use of culture and localized words in textbooks.The third part is the investigation of the use of teaching materials.It mainly introduces students' and teachers' evaluation of teaching materials.The fourth part reflects on the compilation of teaching materials.It mainly introduces the suggestions for the preparation of teaching materials and puts forward some suggestions for Chinese teachers as well as for learners of Chinese as a foreign language.
