| Teaching material is an important part of the "three education" problem, and is also the main resource and basis for learning and teaching target language in non-target language environment. Therefore,it is very necessary to analyze and study Chinese textbooks, especially localized textbooks. In the new era,the continuous "Chinese fever" has given rise to a number of Chinese textbooks and learning materials for learners, with various forms and contents, but uneven quality. In particular, countries that have developed Chinese teaching relatively late, such as Belarus, have little research on Chinese and Chinese teaching.Existing researches mainly focus on teaching status, learning motivation,cross-cultural communication and bias research, and there are many gaps in textbook construction.By sorting out the concept of "localization",this paper further clarifies the meaning of "localization" and its importance to Chinese teaching.By analyzing teaching materials and interviews as well as my own teaching practice, this paper has an in-depth understanding of the Belarusian Chinese teaching syllabus and the pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar and cultural content of Chinese teaching materials, and analyzes the characteristics of the localized content of Belarusian Chinese teaching materials: The overall design of teaching materials has the characteristics of localization; The arrangement sequence of language elements has the characteristics of localization: the selection of cultural content has the characteristics of localization. But we also found that "Chinese" has many shortcomings: the layout design of the textbook lacks novelty;Insufficient supporting resources of teaching materials;Pronunciation way explanation is not good;Words have no part of speech;Lack of communication in grammar exercises; The cultural part is not very interesting. On this basis,we put forward some specific suggestions, hoping to provide help for the compilation of local Chinese teaching materials in Belarus in the future and improve the quality of Chinese teaching in Belarus. |
