With the enhancement of the globalization, the communication betweenUzbekistan and China is getting more and more frequent. As a result,it becomespopular to learn Chinese in Uzbekistan. When learning Chinese,the materials forteaching Chinese play a significant role which cannot be ignored. However, most ofthe materials for teaching Chinese in current in Uzbekistan are translated from othercountries,not Uzbekistan itself. They have problems not to be able to adapt to thelocal culture. Consequently, it urgently needs to devise some solutions for thelocalization of the materials for teaching Chinese. The materials should be related tonational conditions,history,language,and culture of Uzbekistan. Furthermore,thecontext of the materials for teaching Chinese should be involved with the study,work,and life of Uzbekistan. In order to promote the localization of materials forteaching Chinese some examples refer to the book named 《汉语新目标》, and issuesand problems which exist in materials for teaching Chinese in Uzbekistan areanalyzed.This thesis is divided into five parts. In part1,the purpose and meaning of thisstudy,the present condition of this study for the localization of the materials forteaching Chinese,and the previous performance of this study are included. In part2,the ways to research present condition of the materials for learning Chinese,introduction of the materials for teaching Chinese,subject,plan,and process of thestudy. To research present condition of the materials for learning Chinese,literatureinvestigation,classified investigation,survey,field survey are conducted,and theperformances of the study related to second language in Uzbekistan are read. In part3, the materials for teaching Chinese in current are analyzed and the results of theresearch and the field survey are attached and analyzed. Also,the analysis of theauthor on appearance,construction of context,and translation pattern of the materialsfor teaching Chinese and the view of the author about the problems of the materials forteaching Chinese in current and the localization of the materials for learning Chineseare included. In part4,improvement of writing and using the materials for learningChinese is suggested. In part5,the author gives a summary of this thesis.
