The first half of the 20th century was a stage of enlightenment and gradual development of music education in general schools in various countries, and it was a growing process from scratch.Music curriculum,as the central link of education,is the basic way to achieve the goal of music education, and the implementation of music education can not be separated from the provisions of relevant policies.Through the study of Japanfs influence on Korean music during 1910-1945,it is the most direct way to study Korean modem music education.During this period, educational documents such as the First Korean Education Order, the Second Korean Education Order and the Regulations of National Schools were issued in an attempt to erase the traditional Korean music culture in music education. The control of the music market and the persecution of patriotic musicians also show the aggressor's wolf ambition. In the early 20th century,Japan had undergone Meiji Restoration, the status of traditional music declined, while Western music entered Japan and became popular. At first, western music was introduced into Japan as military music. After a period of time, the Japanese govenrment and educational institutions realized that it was necessary to carry out comprehensive western music education in schools.Because of the Japanese invasion, the Korean Peninsula became a Japanese colony, and the Japanese invasion also brought the western music education into Korean schools. The Japanese cultural aggression adopted a policy of obliterating the original traditional folk music. At the same time, because of the pairnul emotions brought to the people by the war,the composers creative ideas were also affected to a certain extent, and a number of different forms and genres of music were formed. In order to speed up the cultural invasion,Japan set up music groups and music education institutions of different sizes in Korea, which brought about symphonies, operas, chamber music and art songs in the period of Western Romanticism and Classicism.Hovever, this is not to bring advanced music culture to North Korea, but to instill enslavement education, trample and erase the excellent traditional culture of North Korea, which also has a huge impact on the Korean music industry, which mainly focuses on national traditional music. It is during this period that a large nunber of patriotic musicians emerged in North Korea. They wrote songs with what they had learned all their lives, encouraged the people to strive for independence and drove the aggressors out of the country.Music,as an art form, contains a lot of cultural information and has become an important symbol of different cultures. If we want to study the history and culture of the Japanese occupation period in Korea,we must study the music field which occupies an importaIt position in the culture. However, little research has been done on the influence of Japan on music in the Korean Peninsula and Yanbian area in the early 20th century. In this paper,I will investigate and study the influence of Japan on Korean music in this period, hoping to provide some factual reference for Korean music research in the early 20th century, and at the same tune expose JapaP's cultural aggression against Korean music.
