An Exploration On The Artistic Characteristics An Singing Method Of ’Huaer’ In Gansu Region

‘Huaer’ is a kind of folk song which widely spreads in northwest of China.In the long course of development,it had already been gradually formed different artistic.Gansu is the main prevalent regions of ‘Huaer’.Gansu ‘Huaer’ is not only a kind of folk songs,but also a traditional culture,it reflects customs and shows the artistic talent.However,with the diversification of world music and people’s aesthetic,the living environment of Gansu ‘Huaer’faces many difficulties.While protecting the culture of ‘Huaer’,artists are also trying to pass on ‘Huaer’ in new ways.This paper was based on the background of such a big era to study Gansu ‘Huaer’.In this paper,the historical inheritance and protection of Gansu ‘Huaer’ and their artistic characteristics will be elaborated on the basis of previous theoretical research and in combination with personal understanding.The author selected two representative works of Gansu ‘Huaer’—<Sisters’ Shandan Flowers Blooming> and <Down To Sichuan> for analysis and comparison in combination with the author’s own professional and practical experience,to explore the artistic characteristics and singing methods of ‘Huaer’ in Gansu,and summarize the singing suggestions of these two works,so as to provide some reference suggestions for more singers to sing in a more authentic and correct way.
