Traditional Culture's Image Carrier Of China And South Korea

Bihua Li and Qingjun Li are the famous contemporary writers in China and South Korea.Bihua Li's representative work "Farewell to My Concubine" and Qingjun Li' s representative work "Seopyeonje" were created upon the national traditional culture.The works show the survival background of Peking Opera and Korean Pansori under the great social changes in the 20th century through the love and hate entanglements of entertainers.The characters in these two works can be divided into three categories:the Representative,the Inheritor and the Deviator.According to the differences in the root causes of the characters' tragedies during the traditional cultural inheritance process,the works dig into the historical difficulties of China and South Korea in terms of social culture,national psychology and gender consciousness.Through the different presentation in the aspects of characterization,conflict design and aesthetic connotation of the two writers,Bihua Li and Qingjun Li,the works analyze the different treatment strategies of Peking Opera in China and Pansori in South Korea.It provides a reference how the national traditional culture could develop and take root in the current society.This paper includes five parts.The first chapter is the introduction.The paper summarizes the background of the research object base on the writers' two works,and also points out the feasibility of the research and the research significance.This Paper combines with the research status of "Farewell to My Concubine" and "Seopyeonje" within Chinese and South Korean.It explores the innovation point.Through the theory and the method application of Comparative Literature,this paper carries on a deep research.In the second chapter,this paper classifies and compares with the characters in the two works.The characters are divided into three types:the Representative,the Inheritor and the Deviator.The characters in these two works have similar point from personality traits to behavior patterns so that the characters follow a similar life path.This chapter focuses on the commonness of images,and points out the differences on these commonness.This paves the way for further research.In the second chapter,this paper explores the differences in character fate,story structure and cultural factors between Chinese and Korean writers.It combines the theories of Sociology,Cultural Iconography and Feminist Literary Criticism.Meanwhile,from three aspects of social background,national psychology and gender consciousness,this paper deeply analyzes the different treatment strategies on national traditional culture from two writers.In the second chapter,this paper studies on the literary value of the two works,and explores the aesthetic perception and experience with readers from the perspective of Reception Aesthetics.It specifically analyzes the status of novels,"Farewell to My Concubine" and"Seopyeonje",in their respective literary history,and also analyzes the influence on the subsequent creation of national traditional culture.Through the transformation of Peking Opera lyrics,Pansori lyrics and other specific forms of artistic expression,two works present a whole picture to readers from the beauty of figure tragedy to the beauty of art.Through the above analysis,the following conclusions can be drawn.Through the classification and analysis of the characters in the two works,this paper explores the root of the cultural difference between China and South Korea base on the character tragedy.It shows the relevance problem on the character development trajectory and respective national traditional culture.Elucidate the aesthetic significance of the two works from tragedy and art,it has certain value for spreading and popularizing national traditional culture.And it provides more reference value to more scholars for the future related research between the national traditional culture and literature.
