Franz Joseph Haydn(1732-1809)was an Austrian composer.He was the first of the three masters of classical music in Vienna.He is known as the "father of chamber music","father of orchestral music" and "father of symphony music".He is most famous for his sonata in E flat major(hob.?? /52),which he wrote at the height of his career.This is the largest piano sonata in Haydn,often known as "Haydn's greatest piano sonata",has a high value of analysis and performance.This sonata is also Haydn's last piano sonata,Haydn after writing this piece of work,formal farewell to the piano sonata creation.This paper is divided into two chapters to analyze and expound Haydn's sonata in E flat major(hob.?? /52).The first chapter mainly introduces Haydn's life,three very important periods he was writing at that time and the background of writing the sonata in E flat major.The structure and tonality of the sonata music in E flat major are analyzed.The second chapter analyzes the performance skills and difficulties in the sonata in E flat major through the comprehension and experience in the performance process,aiming at correctly grasping the composer's music processing of speed,strength,pedal and other aspects in the sonata in E flat major.Through the study of Haydn's sonata in E flat major(hob.??/52),the author can help players better understand the content of music,grasp the playing technique and music style,and provide certain learning and reference value for later learners.
