The discovery and excavation of No.2 Tomb of Yimen,Baoji,in 1992,unearthed a large number of exquisite funerary objects,which aroused great concern of the academic circles.This paper makes a typological analysis of the various buried objects in the No.2 tomb of yimen,and focuses on the study of some jadeware,so as to discuss the cultural characteristics contained in the no.2 tomb's jades,the craftsmanship of making jades in the late Spring and Autumn Period and the cultural exchanges between the Qin State and its neighbours.There are 225 objects(groups)in Tomb No.2 of Yimen,which can be classified into two types: metal and jade.There are 225 objects(groups)in Tomb No.2 of Yimen,which can be classified into two types: metal and jade.Metallic ware includes: pure gold ware,gold-iron,gold-copper synthesizer,copper ware.Jades include: jades,gems and materials.Among them,80 are pure gold wares,20 are gold-iron synthesizers,19 are gold-copper synthesizers,19 are copper wares and 81 are jade wares(group).From the point of view of use,the no.2 tomb is composed of weapons,harness and decorations.From the point of view of usage,the funerary objects of No.2 Tomb of Yimen include weapons,horses and ornaments.Weapons include swords,knives and arrows.The harness includes a rotor and a horse's rank.The number of decorations is the largest,including hooks,buckles,Bi,Huan,Huang,Xi,Pei and so on.From the point of view of technology,metal ware mainly uses the process of turbid casting,forging,carving and mosaic,while jade carving skillfully uses line carving,relief and drilling technology,which indicates that the production technology of metal ware and jade ware has matured in this period.By studying theBi,Huang,Xi,Zhang,of No.2 tomb,we can divide the use of jades into two categories: burial and decoration.Secondly,the cultural factors contained in the above jade articles include the Western Zhou culture,the Qin culture,and the Chu culture.As seen from Tomb No.2 of Yimen,the processing technology of the Qin Jade Wares in the late Spring and Autumn Period has matured,and the unique Qin Jade Wares have been formed on the basis of the shape and decoration of the Jade Wares in the Western Zhou Dynasty.At the same time,the period was a prosperous period for the development of Chu Jade,and Qin and Chu were allies.There werefrequent exchanges between the two countries.The numerous Chu-style Jades from Tomb No.2 of Yimen also reflected the friendly relations between the two countries.
