Funerary objects of models are one of the burial articles since the Eastern Zhou Dynasty.For the moment,the “model” relics found earliest can be traced back to Neolithic period.Funerary objects rose in the Qin Dynasty,developed in the Western Han Dynasty,reached its peaks in the middle of the Eastern Han Dynasty,and gradually declined in the later period.It was only after the establishment of Western Jin Dynasty that the funerary objects began to return to the list of burial articles with new forms and new combinations.This paper focused on the unearthed funerary objects in the Han Dynastytombs in Hebei areas.The purpose is to further understand the Han Dynasty culture in Hebei by organizing and analyzing it.It also provides new ways and methods for archaeological research from the perspective of funerary objects.The opening of the paper,it briefly introduced the unearthed outline and research status of the burial models of the Han tomb in Hebei,and defined some concepts and spatial scope of the burial models.Secondly,the twelve types of model lighters were collated and classified.The classified models are divided by period according to coexisting objects with obvious characteristics of the times,such as bronze mirrors,coins,etc.,and the stage characteristics of various types of funerary objects are summarized.After that,the model of the unearthed Han dynasty tombs in the Hebei area was compared with the model unearthed in the Han dynasty in Guanzhong area and Henan area,and the relationship between the Hebei area and the culture of the two places was summarized.Then,the reasons for the appearance of the model in the Hebei region were analyzed from four aspects of politics,economy,ideology and social class.Finally,by observing the plastic mold of the model,the carbonized food particles loaded inside the lighter,and the portrait stone,combined with the relevant literature records,climate conditions,we analyzed the composition of the food and diet ingredients of the ancestors of the two dynasties.
