Longxi Yunyang Board Dance is a traditional Folk sacrifice activity in Longxi County,Dingxi City,Gansu Province. It is a folk spontaneous organization and a group folk dance art with strong self-entertainment.As a traditional dance that has been handed down from generation to generation for a long time and developed to this day,Yunyang Board has formed a distinctive regional feature in the unique living environment of the local area.It has a certain religious color. It forms a mountain-facing team on the 8th day of the 4th lunar month to offer sacrifices on the mountain. The team is huge.Accompanied by the crisp sound of hitting the board, the movement formation changes are numerous and varied, and the scene is very lively and shocking. However, with the changes of the times, the economy has accelerated its development. In a high-tech and highly intelligent social environment, people's requirements for quality of life are increasing day by day.Yunyang board dance cannot become the bread bowl for the family.More young and middle-aged people go out to work for their livelihood. Therefore, the number of performers of Yunyang board dance decreases year by year.At the same time,as far as Yunyang board dance itself is concerned, its form and costumes have lagged behind the pace of the times, and it is no longer satisfied with the aesthetic appreciation of the audience and faces the danger of being forgotten or abandoned by the public. However,it is gratifying that Yunyang Board in West Gansu successfully declared the Intangible Cultural Heritage project in Gansu Province in 2013,which has found vitality for the protection and inheritance of Yunyang Board from the perspective of national presence. This paper will also focus on protection from the perspective of intangible cultural heritage of Yunyang board in west Gansu, while trying to explore feasible ways and appropriate forms of development that can adapt to the aesthetic level of the public. The full text is divided into six parts: The first part is the introduction, which elaborates the background and basis of this topic.Looking through relevant literature and research status quo,it is found that the research on Yunyang board dance in west Gansu is mostly ontological research, while the protection measures and development approaches of Yunyang board dance as intangible cultural heritage are rarely mentioned. The second part, that is,the first chapter of this paper, firstly gives a macro overview of the regional environment in which Yunyang board dance in west Gansu came into being, secondly analyzes how Yunyang board dance in west Gansu came into being and its functions, and finally introduces Yunyang board dance in west Gansu as an intangible cultural heritage. The third part, the second chapter of this paper, further expounds the ontological form of Yunyang plate in west Gansu. The fourth part, namely the third chapter of this paper,in today's rapidly developing society, the overall view of Longxi Yunyang board dance survival situation, from the inheritors, local identity and development status were analyzed. The fifth part, the fourth chapter of this paper, combines the principles and rules of intangible cultural heritage protection, explores the problems in the protection work, and discusses reasonable protection measures. The last part is the conclusion of this paper. This part summarizes the significance of the protection and inheritance of Yunyang board dance in West Gansu as an intangible cultural heritage, hoping that the Yunyang board dance inheritors and the Longxi County Cultural Center, who can give me great help, can really push forward the pace of Yunyang board dance in West Gansu. At the same time,I also hope that through the case study of intangible cultural heritage of Yunyang board dance in west Gansu,I can draw some lessons from other intangible cultural heritage case studies.
