| Research purposes: In 2015,the State Sports General Administration launched 12 sets of scientifically-organized square dances,which are suitable for different groups of people and easy to learn.The benefits of square dance exercise are based on a scientific fitness plan and exercise intensity is the heart of making a reasonable personalized fitness plan.The study attempts to objectively analyze and evaluate the energy consumption and exercise intensity of 12 sets of square dances so as to more accurately grasp the intensity of college students? physical activity and the energy consumption during exercising,which can provide theoretical and practical evidence to instruct ordinary people to exercise scientificly,to instruct college students to choose proper exercise intensity and make a reasonable and effective plan.Methods: After 395 girls(non-sports undergraduate attending public physical education course in Jiangxi Normal University)complete 12 sets of square dance,test their heart rate,the MET,the energy consumption value and RPE by using Actigraph GT3 X,Polar chart and self-fatigue sensation scale(RPE)to assess the intensity of the 12 sets of square dance and analyze the characteristics of the energy consumption.Results: 1.Heart rate(HR)results show that the minimum heart rate interval of 12 sets of square dance sets is 100-112 beats/min.The maximum heart rate range is 135-165 beats/min,the average heart rate range is 124-148 beats/min,the heart rate is restored between 105 and 120 beats/min in 1 minute,between 92 and 108 beats/min in 3 minutes and between 89 and 104 beats/min in 5 minutes.The maximum heart rate percentage(HRmax%)is between 62% and 76%.2.Mete(MET)results show that in the 12 sets of square dances,except for the "Happy Dance Steps" METs value is 2.63 ± 0.46,the other 11 sets of METs are greater than 3 and less than 6.Among them,"Bei Er Shuang" has a maximum METs value of 4.39 ± 0.8.3.Rating of Perceived Exertion(RPE)results show that the average RPE of 12 sets of square dances is between 9.7 and 13.4,and the RPE value of “Square Style” is the highest,being 13.4.The RPE value of "Happy Dance","Dancing tonight" and "Chinese Taste" are less than 10,and the other 8 sets of RPE values are between 10 and 12.4.12 sets of square dance energy consumption results show that the total energy consumption of the "square style" is the biggest,the smallest is "tonight dance." There is a big difference between the energy consumption of each square dance.Among them,the energy consumption of "Bei Er Shuang","Square Style",and "Horse Pentium" are 2 to 3 times that of "Dancing tonight".Conclusion:1.The duration of 12 sets of square dance is between 3 and 5 minutes and consists of 6 sets of segments.The movement structure is composed of dance steps and dance elements with national characteristics.2.The average heart rate of female college students who completed the 12 sets of square dances was between 124 and 148 beats/min,The heart rate percentage was between 62 and 76%,MET value of 2 to 5,PRE value of 9 to 13,According to ACSM exercise intensity which were belong the medium-low-intensity exercise.Among them,the HRmax%,MET and RPE values of "dance up tonight","taste of China" and "happy steps" are in the low intensity range,indicating low-intensity exercise.Part of "bei er shuang","square Style" and "China beauty" HRmax% and RPE value are in the range of medium and high intensity,belonging to moderate and high intensity exercise.The other six sets of square dancing are all in the moderate intensity range belonging to the moderate intensity.3.The total energy consumption of the 12 sets of square dances is between 12 and 36 kcal.The energy consumption of "Happy Dance" and "Dancing tonight" is 2.97 kcal/min and 3.84 kcal/min,respectively,which is a small-intensity exercise.The energy consumption of "Bei Er Shuang" is 9.08 kcal/min,which is higher than the medium intensity per minute energy consumption.The other 9 sets are in the range of 4 to 7kcal per minute,which is moderately strong.4.Comprehensive heart rate,MET,RPE,energy consumption four indicators,low-intensity tracks include "Dance Tonight" "Happy Dance" "Chinese taste",medium-strength "Standing in the grassland,looking over Beijing" "Little Apple" "The most dazzling national style" "smile" "Horse Pentium" "Proud Builder",the "Strong Sports","Square Style" and "Chinese Beauty". |
