There are increasing people turning their eye on appreciating and researching Chinese classic poetry.The cross-cultural communication of poetry not only has high cultural exchange value,but also fully gives full scope of Chinese excellent traditions and characteristics.It is a crucial strategy for Chinese cultural rejuvenation and implement of the "going out",which can help the Chinese classics get promoted in foreign cultures.This translation report will take Xu Yuanzhong's "Three-Beauty" Theory as translation guidance for reproducing the unique beauty of ancient Chinese poem to the utmost extent.And this report studies how the beauty of poetry can be better expressed in the translation,which proves that the "Three-Beauty" Theoryhas significance in the practice of poetry translation for representing "beauty in sense,beauty in sound,and beauty in form" of poems.This translation report consists of four chapters.The first chapter mainly introduces the contents,characteristics of this translation project.The second chapter focuses on the theoretical framework.The third chapter begins with the practice of poetry tra`nslation under the guidance of "Three-Beauty" Theory.The last chapter is a conclusion of the whole report.And it concludes the "Three-Beauty" Theory in the process of poetry translation both the theoretical basis and the pursuit of poetry translation.
