The Application Of Flattened Painting Language

With the change of times,people's pace of life is faster and faster,and people are facing more and more pressure.It calls for more art creations which are closely related to the times.Through analyzing of the daily life and personal pursue,the author created a series of oil paintings to express his views on the relationship between human and the world.During the process of creation,the author studied the knowledge of flat art and applied it to the actual painting process.This oil painting is a summary of the author's three years' postgraduate study and laid the foundation for his future life and creation.This paper is composed of four chapters.In the introduction chapter,the author mainly a summarized the related theoretical knowledges.In the first chapter,the author sorted out his personal artistic experience,and described the changes of personal artistic thinking and how he explored the painting forms.In the second chapter,the author analyzed the characterisitcs of several artists' works which had great impacts on his painting.The third chapter is the most important part of the thesis,which specifically described the creation process of the author's painting"mirror".The last chapter mainly described what the author's gains were and what the deficiencies were in creation.This thesis is a kind of discussion about the graduation creation,which mainly studied the personal spiritual world of the author,by using the flat painting language form,analyzing and discussing the personal experience of pursuing arts and personal practice of painting creation.The article mainly put forward the importance of self-analysis in painting practice,expounded the related concepts of self expression and several examples of art.The author authentically expressed his feeling about arts by using flat expression as the main creation methods,by handling the paiting layout and of the color language.There are many articles about flattening,most of which were presented in the form of theory.This thesis explored the application of flat painting language in real painting practice by taking graduation creation process as an example,so as to achieve an effective combination of art theory and practice.
