S A Study Of The Translation Of Idioms In The Chinese-Uyghur Translation Of "Water Margin" From The Perspective Of Cultural Translation

Translation is one of the oldest cultural activities in human history.It is not only a simple language conversion,but also reflects the culture and is restricted by cultural factors.Therefore,in order to carry out successful language conversion,translators should not only master the language skillfully,but also be familiar with the culture represented by the two languages,and the essence of translation research is the study of cultural interaction.The translation of idiomatic expressions has at racted the at ention of many scholars at home and abroad."The water margin" the great literature of ? on behalf of the Chinese folklore has excellent literary charm,and there is a profound cultural connotation,the use of rich and colorful.Based on the theory of cultural translation,this paper studies the idiom atic translation of the uyghur version of water margin from the perspective of cultural translation,and discusses the embodiment and translation methods of the combination of the idiomatic translation strategies contained in the two versions of water marg in with examples.This paper consists of five parts.In the introduction,the content of research review,research status at home and abroad,research purpose and significance,research methods and ideas are stated.In addition,the discussion points of th e rest of the basic research are as follows:The second chapter mainly introduces the Chinese text and uyghur version of water margin,and discusses the relationship between culture and translation.The third chapter discusses the familiar language in "water margin",the classification of familiar language,the characteristics of familiar language,and the comparison between Chinese familiar language and uyghur familiar language.Chapter four focus on the uyghur translation principles,translation methods and translation significance and value of the familiar language in water margin.Chapter five: the summary and prospect part puts forward the research difficulties and the summary of this research.Appendix: including references,the list of familiar words in the Chinese text of water margin,the translation list in the uyghur text and the uyghur translation list in the dictionary of familiar words.
