With the continuous popularization of higher education,public music education in ordinary colleges and universities has been neglected and paid more and more attention,which indicates that music education is gradually improving its status in colleges and universities.Public music education plays an irreplaceable role in practicing aesthetic education.cultivating students' aesthetic ability and developing their comprehensive quality.In recent years,quality-oriented education has been developed in China's ordinary colleges and universities.Although some achievements have been made in the reform of public music education,there are still many problems to be improved due to the deficiencies of subjective and objective conditions,which are worth further research and thinking.Five universities in Luoyang city as the research object,and to all public colleges and universities music education present situation investigation,five universities through investigation and analysis of present situation of non music majors,the public music course teaching present situation,the public music courses and the current situation of art practice survey,to obtain basic situation of Luoyang public music course teaching.In this paper,the author used questionnaire survey method,literature review method,statistical analysis method and interview method.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is the five universities of Luoyang non music majors and all courses in public music colleges and universities present situation investigation.including public music curriculum situation,the specific music course teaching content,the public music teaching situation,the students hope to go to the types of music course,and their demand for public music,etc.After analysis and statistics,the author learned that the current stage of Luoyang university public music curriculum problems.The second chapter,based on the survey data and statistical results,analyzes and studies the existing problems in the teaching of public music courses in five universities in Luoyang city.The author tries to reflect from the four aspects of students,schools,teachers and teaching to find the crux of the problem.In the third chapter,the author makes a case study of the public music course,designs specific teaching cases.In the end,the author makes a teaching summary and makes a prospect for the public music course,hoping to continuously promote the development of public music education in universities in Luoyang.In the fourth chapter,some personal opinions and improvement Suggestions are put forward for the non-music major public music courses in five universities in Luoyang,so as to further optimize the online education platform of public music appreciation courses in common universities.And further promote the implementation of multi-cultural music education in the music teaching of Luoyang normal universities;the author also proposes to effectively integrate the cognition of music work structure in the music appreciation course in a visual way,so as to meet the needs of students to learn music appreciation course.For non-music major universities including science and technology universities,public music education is still a vulnerable part of their comprehensive education in terms of the theory and practice of music education.Based on the analysis of the current teaching situation of public music course in five universities in Luoyang,and combined with my own theory and practical experience,the author hopes to make some efforts for the development of public music education in ordinary universities in Luoyang.
