A Preliminary Study Of Modern Oil Painting Materials

Oil painting,as an ancient western painting,has been introduced into China for more than one hundred years.Through the unremitting exploration of several generations of Chinese people,oil painting has taken root and grown up in China.During this period since the founding of new China,the oil painting art has developed rapidly in China.The establishment of various colleges of fine arts and art colleges opened up the education mode of new China's academy of fine arts.Each college of fine arts and art has set up the oil painting major and started to cultivate specialized oil painting talents.After the founding of the People's Republic of China,experts from the Soviet union assisted China in opening a painting training course for maximum at the central academy of fine arts,and then a training course for Boba,a Romanian oil painter,at the Zhejiang academy of fine arts.The opening of these two oil painting training classes has greatly developed the education of oil painting in new China and cultivated a large number of outstanding oil painting artists who are active in the Chinese painting circle later.These two oil painting training classes mainly teach the rules of painting,while Chinese oil painters have always been in a state of lack of knowledge about professional oil painting materials.Until the late 1980 s,the French painter Ben kass held the oil painting material skill workshops in China,after the French painter held Iraq,Iraq,came to China oil painting workshop,the opening of the two workshops makes Chinese people began to understand the oil painting materials on real significance,attaches great importance to the oil painting materials,constantly in-depth study oil painting materials,gradually makes the development of Chinese oil painting art to promote a new level.Oil painting is inseparable from a wide variety of oil painting materials;in-depth understanding of the performance of various oil painting materials is the cornerstone of our oil painting.With the development of times and science and technology,oil painting materials have also made great progress.This paper focuses on the new development of oil painting materials;the main oil painting materials were combed,analyzed and studied.I believe that the research on this subject not only enables us to have a deeper understanding of the performance of different oil painting materials,but also enables us to reasonably use oil painting materials to create more and better oil painting.This paper is divided into six parts to discuss,the first part briefly describes the selection of oil painting material plays an important role in oil painting.The second part discusses the characteristics,production and selection of different oil painting bases.The third part discusses the types and selection of oil painting supports.The fourth part discusses a wide variety of oil painting medium performance and its use.The fifth part discusses three kinds of oil paints designed by different oil painting brands in the world.The sixth part discusses the author's experience of using oil painting medium materials in creative practice.
