The period from the Eastern Han Dynasty to the Wei and Jin Dynasties was a period in which the Taoist thoughts sprouted and formed into a system. The Taiping Jing contains a lot of thoughts of reborn students. This great love for life prompts the Taoist people not only to care for themselves, but also to push themselves and others,to spread the care of life to the entire human race, and to do good or not and do good deeds. The extent of the relationship with the length of life has become the intrinsic motivation of its charitable ideas. The charitable acts of “Zhou poorly rescued”advocated in the article include respect for individual life and rational distribution of social wealth. In order to ensure that the charitable ideas are recognized and practiced by the people, the Taiping Jing puts forward the theory of "bearing the burden".At first glance, this thought seems to devalue the moral value of charity,so that it can carry a kind of utilitarian meaning, but a careful and in-depth study will reveal that there is a moral causality law, that is,the inevitability of good and evil retribution. The study of the charity thought of Taiping Jing is to explore the excellent charity thoughts in the blood of traditional Chinese culture. This has a positive effect on promoting the religious community in our country to better serve the society, benefit the society and build a new era of philanthropy.Although the academic research on Taiping Jing has been in existence for a long time,it is still rare to systematically study the charitable ideas contained therein.Based on this understanding, this thesis attempts to systematically sort out the rich charitable ideas contained in the Taiping Jing on the basis of returning to the classics and conscientious analysis,in order to seek the connection between charitable thoughts and modern charity in Taiping Jing.To provide a certain reference plan for the transformation of traditional charity in China to modern charity.
