Contemporary Innovation Of Chu Decoration In Visual Communication Design

In traditional Chinese culture,regional culture is a very important research field.Among many regional cultures,Jingchu culture not only has a long history,but also has a significant impact.The occurrence of Jingchu art is marked by the emergence of creation decoration.The transmission and expression of Jingchu decoration always have specific cultural information and social attributes,which has a far-reaching impact on later art research.Jingchu decoration is the product of the activities of Chu people,which has special status and artistic value.From the current archaeological materials,Jingchu decoration is widely used in all aspects of Chu people's social life.Geometric patterns are widely used in bronze,silk,pottery and clothing.They are important decorative parts of Jingchu decoration.In visual communication design,existing articles and works,many of which quote Phoenix bird patterns in Jingchu decoration,are used in Jingchu decoration.Geometric patterns have not been applied in a holistic and innovative way.On the basis of absorbing and drawing lessons from other excellent regional cultural research achievements,this paper systematically studies the connotation,shape and aesthetic characteristics of geometric patterns in Jingchu decorations,and combines contemporary popular culture with visual communication design to meet the needs of the development of the times,so as to inherit and carry forward Jingchu culture.The purpose of inheritance is to create creative products with Jingchu regional cultural characteristics.
