As representative of the Chinese and Korean festivals,the Mid-Autumn Festival and the Chuseok have a long history and rich connotations.Although the two have different origins and have their own national characteristics,due to the frequent exchanges between ancient China and South Korea,their festival customs and festival connotations have similarities in the historical development process.The study on the ancient Mid-Autumn Festival and the Chuseok is conducive to an in-depth analysis of the history and culture of the two countries and the social and spiritual world of the ancient two peoples.This thesis takes the existing age-old customs of China and South Korea as the basic data,supplemented by the official records of historical materials,and collects the relevant literature of the literati poetry anthology,with the origin,development and maturity as the chronological order of the Mid-Autumn Festival and the Chuseok.A comparative study of festival events and ideological connotations,in order to explore the similarities and differences between the Chinese and Korean countries in the Chinese cultural circle in terms of customs and cultural connotations.The first chapter is the introduction.It mainly expounds the research purpose,significance and domestic and international research trends related to this thesis,paving the way for the text.The second chapter mainly expounds the historical evolution of the Mid-Autumn Festival and the Chuseok.According to the chronological order,the characteristics of the Mid-Autumn Festival and the Chuseok in the origin,development and maturity are elaborated and compared to reveal the evolution and characteristics of the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival and the Korean the Chuseok in different historical periods.The third chapter mainly expounds the comparison between the Mid-Autumn Festival and the Chuseok.Firstly,the customs of the Mid-Autumn Festival and the Chuseok are sorted out,and the reasons for the socio-economic and cultural aspects of each custom are analyzed.Then,the ideological culture behind it is deeply explored.Finally,the customs similar to the Mid-Autumn Festival and the Chuseok are compared and analyzed.The fourth chapter expounds the cultural connotation of Mid-Autumn Festival and the Chuseok.Through the analysis of festival customs,the similarities and differences between the ancient Chinese and Korean countries in terms of monthly worship,ancestor worship,reunion,village consciousness and feminine culture in the festival are revealed.The fifth chapter is the conclusion.Summarize the above chapters,from the perspective of historical folklore,compare the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival and the Korean Autumn Festival in the order of historical evolution,deepen the understanding of the customs and cultural connotations of the two,and further deepen the understanding of China and South Korea.Understanding and respecting the differences in national festival culture.
