With the importance of traditional Chinese festivals culture increasing and protection consciousness by the government and the public in recent years,the cultural connotation and the meaning of inheritance for the traditional have been widely valued.As one of the traditional Chinese festivals,the Mid-Autumn Festival has a certain influence at home and abroad,but there are still problems in the cultural communication and research of the Mid-Autumn Festival.This paper studies the connotation and cultural communication of the Mid-Autumn Festival,combining the cultural communication of the Mid-Autumn Festival with the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,and the relevant opinions that were raised on the problems existing in the teaching,teaching materials,and teachers.Based on the case analysis,it proposes the cultural communication of Mid-Autumn Festival in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language the constructive opinions for the spread of Chinese traditional festival culture.The article includes six parts.The introduction is mainly about the research background,the related concepts of communication,and the current status of domestic and foreign research on the cultural communication of Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.This article uses the data review,questionnaire survey,teacher interview and case analysis method.It combines cultural communication with teaching Chinese as a foreign language for analysis and inquiry.The second part summarizes the origin and customs and cultural connotation of the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival,revealing the changes of the cultural connotation of the Mid-Autumn Festival from ancient times to the present,from the celebration of the ancient harvest to the meaning of reunion and thanksgiving.The third part discusses about the spread of Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival culture in teaching Chinese as a foreign language from the aspects of textbook comparison,teaching case analysis,and teacher interviews,and summarizes problems in teaching.In the fourth part,a questionnaire analysis is conducted on the teaching of Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival culture to foreign students.I learned the feedback from middle school students on Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival culture and their interest in Mid-Autumn Festival culture.Based on the analysis of the survey results,we actively adjusted the teaching content and teaching methods.The fifth part summarizes the problems in the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival culture in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,the lack of teaching materials for festival culture,and of the teachers' feedback on teaching.It also puts forward some reflections and suggestions from the aspects of teaching materials,teaching and teachers.
