TongDao County is a region that closed to provinces of Hunan,Guangxi and Guizhou.The local ethnic groups are complex and the Han and Miao are mixed.The county was founded in the Song Dynasty,and the local affairs often spread to the three provinces.The state has continuously sent troops to station troops,set up customs,and in-depth management of localities.The interaction between countries and regions has increased,and the interaction between ethnic groups has also changed with the needs of national policies and local economic development.From Kangxi to the early years of Qianlong,the incidents of "Suining Miao","Miuchong Miao" "Shi Jinyuan" and "Dai Laoshi" aroused the attention of the state to the three provinces of Hunan,Guangxi and Guizhou.In fact,these incidents are also the part of open up "newly Miaojiang" in southwest China.The development of Guizhou by the state has also directly promoted the nationalization of the tongdao areas.In the process of interaction between the state and the local people,who influenced by the Han culture,participated in the imperial examination,built the genealogy,and appear local families.The country presents its own regional characteristics in regional management.With the flow of population,the development of mountainous areas has been intensified.The Qu River will integrate Guizhou,Tongdao,Jingzhou,Hongjiang and other places,the local commerce has been developed.In this study,starting from Yongzheng to the early years of Qianlong,we systematically discussed the influence of the state on the local society in the process of governance of the Tongdao area under the background of the new Miaojiang.Interpretation of local historical materials in specific situations,enrichment of regional research,reflecting the interaction between the state and the local process.
