A Study On The Modernity Of QianJuntao's Book Decoration Design Works

Books are a tool for spreading civilization and a ladder for human civilization.The development of book binding design can reflect the characteristics,social features and national traditions of an era and a nation,and it is the carrier of national spirit and cultural connotation.Nowadays,with the rapid development of science and technology and the emergence of e-books and other products,paper books are being severely tested.The current situation of the book market has led to higher requirements for the field of book binding design.How to design a more high-quality book layout design for modernity? It is a problem that modern book binding designers must consider.During my part-time job as a magazine typesetting,I unconsciously noticed that Mr.Qian Juntao was the pioneer of the art of book binding and design in China.When I was curious,I began to understand him and found that Qian Juntao laid an important foundation for the development of modern book binding and design.He is versatile,well-educated,and has dabbled in many fields throughout his life.He is not only a highly accomplished calligrapher,seal engraver,painter,poet and writer,but also has written more than 1,000 book binding and design works,which aroused tremendous repercussions in the period of the Republic of China.Therefore,Qian Juntao's book binding design is of great significance,this article is from Mr.Qian Juntao's book binding design works of modern design analysis and research.The research idea of this paper is divided into four parts.Firstly,it summarizes and analyzes Qian Juntao's life experience,art activities and the background of the times of book binding design at that time.Starting from Qian Juntao's experience of making friends,this paper probes into the modernity of Qian Juntao's book binding and design works,and probes into the concrete expressive methods in Qian Juntao's series of book binding and design works.Thirdly,starting from the form presented in Qian Juntao's book design works and the aesthetic construction,it analyzes the causes of its modernity.The sense of design and traditional culture had a profound influence on Qian Juntao's design and creation.Fourthly,Qian Juntao's book binding design has its own modern artistic style.He creates modern book design works with Oriental temperament by integrating traditional culture with western design forms,which hasreference value and research significance.This study will provide some ideas and inspirations for book binding design.
