A Study Of The Figurines Of Song Dynasty In Sichuan

Song Dynasty is a highly developed period of Chinese culture,which also includes burial culture.The geographic kanyu technique of the Song Dynasty was popular,and the burial of the figurines was an important part of it.In particular,a large number of the figurines were found in the Song Dynasty tombs in Sichuan,it is an indispensable part of the study on characteristics and stages of the figurines of Song Dynasty tombs in Sichuan.Therefore,this paper discusses the characteristics and stages of the figurines in sichuan province,and then summarizes their regional characteristics.This paper also summarizes the origin of the burial customs of the figurines in sichuan and the functions of some of the figurines buried in the song dynasty.In the end,the images of the buried figurines are compared with the decoration in stone tombs in Sichuan.This paper is divided into four chapters:The first chapter introduces the archaeological discovery of the figurines of the Song Dynasty in Sichuan.Then it reviews the research on the buried figurines in tang and song dynasties and draws some questions that can be further studied in this paper.The second chapter makes a typological analysis of the figurines unearthed in Sichuan to distinguish their shapes.Then according to the different combinations of the figurines,four sections are obtained,and the part of the figurines are divided into different sections.Finally,the decoration of the figurines is also discussed.The third chapter is the discussion about the burial customs of the figurines in Sichuan.At first,this paper sorts out the origin and influence factors of the burial customs of the figurines in Sichuan.Combining the the ancient literature on some figures,roles and significances of the figurines are discussed,and put forward some new ideas.The fourth chapter summarizes the theme of stone carving decoration tombs in Sichuan,compares the images of the figurines with those of stone carving decoration tombs in Sichuan,and analyzes their cultural similarities and differences.Chapter five is the conclusion,it summarizes the main contents of the previous chapters and puts forward the viewpoint that there are distinct cultural differences between different regions in the Song Dynasty in Sichuan.
