With the deepening and development of globalization,Chinese has gradually assumed the mission of cultural communication and exchange among various countries and nations,and Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Language has become a language education discipline with international significance.Spoken Chinese teaching is an important course in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Language.Spoken Chinese plays a huge role in both overseas communication and daily communication.At present,information network technology has become the main driving force for the development of education.The use of new media platforms to assist Chinese teaching is the great trend of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Language.As a typical representative of new media platforms,the WeChat Subscription has the advantage that traditional oral Chinese class lacks.For learning method of spoken Chinese teaching,using WeChat Subscription to assist spoken Chinese teaching is a bold innovation and attempt.Accordingly,this paper chooses the WeChat Subscription as an example,and combines the spoken Chinese textbooks to show the design process and ideas of WeChat Subscription combined with spoken Chinese classes,thus to study and analyze comprehensively the assistant function of the new media platform in spoken Chinese classes.This paper is divided into five parts:The first chapter is introduction,which analyses the research background,significances,theoretical basis and research methods,in addition to summarizes the current research status of the new media platform and the WeChat Subscription in spoken Chinese classes.The second chapter introduces the relevant concepts of the new media platform firstly,then analyzes the application status of the new media platform in spoken Chinese classes,and summarizes advantages and disadvantages of the new media platform as an assistant instruction tool in spoken Chinese classes.The third and the fourth chapter are the key parts of this paper.The third chapter elaborates the design ideas and contents of the platform when WeChat Subscription isapplied to spoken Chinese classes,and analyzes the assistant function of the platform in language knowledge,communication and culture from the aspect of teaching.The fourth chapter is based on the Constructivist Learning Theory,Micro-learning Theory and Cognitive Load Theory.It introduces the overall design of teaching of spoken Chinese classes in WeChat Subscription.This chapter is based on lesson3 Where Do You Come From ? in the spoken textbook Developing Chinese Intermediate Speaking Course(?),according to teaching process and procedure,this paper designs a teaching case,including three teaching stages : pre-class preparation,in-class teaching and after-class review.The fifth chapter,combined with all content and the problems in the process of this paper,in-depth thinking,and summarizes the problems existing in the new media platforms including the WeChat Subscription in assisting spoken Chinese teaching,and makes recommendations accordingly.
