| The booming development of China’s tourism requires us to pay our attention and increase research efforts to the field of guide interpreting.At present,the research on the combination of the theory and practice of guide interpreting is still insufficient at home and abroad,especially the problem of dealing with cultural information in guide interpreting,and this problem has always been a difficult point in interpreting.Because the focus of communicative translation is the foreign tourists(the target language readers)in this article,the responsibility of the interpreters is to break the limitations of the source language and reduce the negative transfer to communicate smoothly and understand easily.Therefore,it is imperative to strengthen research in this area.During the research,the author finds that there are some paradigms and operating procedures in communicative translation theory which have theoretical guiding significance and practical value for the processing of disseminating cultural information.This paper aims to seek and demonstrate the strategies of disseminating cultural information in the process of interpreting from the perspective of communicative translation theory.Through the analysis and summary of the tour commentaries and culture-loaded words of the guide interpreting,this article proposes several interpretation strategies and methods such as transliteration with interpretation,amplification,omission,analogy,paraphrase and compiling,which enable the interpreters to convey the Chinese characteristic cultural information to foreign tourists better. |
