With the upgrading of the global industrial structure,in recent years,China's cultural and creative industries have been developing continuously, which has aroused a new wave of industry and attracted wide attention from all fields. At the same time, cultural and creative industries also show different degrees of spatial agglomeration characteristics. The New Silk Road Economic Belt, which is considered as "the Longest and Most Potential Economic Corridor in the World",leads the Asia-Pacific Economic Circle in the east and the developed European Economic Circle in the west. The proposal of "New Silk Road Economic Belt" provides a good prospect and opportunity for the development of cultural and creative industries in 9 provinces and municipalities in the west.As a result of that, how to realize the development, utilization and agglomeration of cultural industry in the "New Silk Road Economic Belt" is very important. This paper takes the cultural and creative industries of nine provinces and municipality in the "New Silk Road Economic Belt" as the research object.Firstly, the cultural and creative industries studied in this paper are defined. The contents of cultural and creative industries are clearly defined as cultural industry, sports industry, entertainment industry, information transmission, computer services and software industry. Then, the location entropy of spatial agglomeration level of each region is calculated by employee share of cultural and creative industries from 2008 to 2016,and the location entropy of each region is compared and analyzed.Through the theoretical analysis of industrial agglomeration,26 specific indicators affecting spatial agglomeration of cultural and creative industries are selected as independent variables Xi,and the location entropy representing spatial agglomeration level as dependent variable Y.Grey correlation analysis is carried out.According to the analysis, the following conclusions are drawn: 1.The spatial agglomeration of creative industries in nine self-governing province and municipalities and of the "New Silk Road Economic Belt" is obvious, but it's agglomeration level still lags behind that in more developed areas or coastal areas.2.The overall level of spatial agglomeration shows a downward trend, which indicates that the development of cultural and creative industries has tended to be balanced in space in recent years.3.Generally speaking, the strongest correlation with location entropy is the proportion of local education science and technology expenditure in overall financial expenditure, that is to say,the proportion of Education Science and technology expenditure in financial expenditure is the primary factor affecting the cultural and creative industries agglomeration in the "New Silk Road Economic Belt".4.Specifically,the factors influencing the level of cultural and creative industry agglomeration in nine self-governing provinces and municipalities of the New Silk Road Economic Belt are roughly similar, but the degrees of influence of different factors are different.5.The agglomeration and development of the cultural and creative industries in this region depend on the support of national policies and funds.Based on the above conclusions, five suggestions are put forward.
