| Beauty is an existential attribute that can arouse people's aesthetic feeling in their hearts.It is an emotional and visual perceptual knowledge.The beauty in life varies from person to person.Excellent literary works are derived from life but above life.In such works,the beauty of life can be vividly depicted and fully integrated.Therefore,they preserve abundant aesthetic value.Lu Yao's classic work The Ordinary World can be categorized into such a type.It employs plain language,exciting plots and vivid characters to deduce,display and disseminate beauty.Thus,it has enduring aesthetic value and artistic appeal.This dissertation conducts a comprehensive interpretation of the aesthetic value of The Ordinary World.The introduction mainly covers the background of the topic,the significance of the research,the research of the status,and the research methods.Chapter One presents an analysis of the aesthetic effect of the work from the aesthetic elements such as the beauty of narration,the beauty of human nature and that of human feelings,so as to grasp the aesthetic value of the novel as a whole.Chapter Two mainly elaborates the aesthetic experience and the aesthetic education path of the novel through the following two dimensions: narrative discourse and aesthetic experience progression,and aesthetic image and ideal sentiment cultivation.Chapter Three sets forth the multiple factors within the aesthetic acceptance of this novel from the perspective of reception aesthetics,such as the aesthetic acceptance characteristics of the audience,the indeterminacy of the text,the horizon of expectation,the aesthetic distance in the aesthetic acceptance of the novel,and on that basis,puts forward the strategies to realize the educational value in the dissemination and acceptance of the work from the dimensions of the reader,educator and society.The final part sorted out the major problems involved in the dissertation,the logical order of elaboration and the basic conclusion. |
