Comic-advertisements refers to advertisements drawn in the form of comics.At the same time,comic-advertisements are also a kind of early Chinese comics.Most of the comics-advertisements in the Republic of China were published in newspapers and pictorials.The research time of this paper was selected from 1912 to 1937,covering the rise,development and decline of comic-advertisements.The topics selected in this thesis are as follows: First,through the connection between comics and advertisements in modern times and the development track of mutual influence,the historical evolution of comic design is combed from one angle;secondly,the way of expression and the form of advertising,so from the perspective of graphic design to study comic-advertisements,we can find the creative and expression techniques;third,according to the expression of comics-advertisements at that time,to explore the relationship between social ideology and design,such as Social outlook,values,consumption concept are conveyed through comic advertisements;finally,through the study of comic-advertisements,this ad branch promotes advertising research during the Republic of China.
